UWC Graduate Mohamed Youssef Spoke at Global Affairs
On Oct 16, UWC Robert Bosch College held its third Global Affairs Session, with UWC Pearson College graduate Mohamed Youssef as a speaker. Mohamed currently works as a defense lawyer at the International Criminal Court in the Hague. He has participated in several famous cases involving the situations in the MENA region. During his talk, he provided the students with glimpses into his journey from being a UWC student to a defense lawyer and introduced the missions and functions of the International Criminal Court and the International Court of Justice, providing real-life experiences. Thank you for spending time with us and inspiring conversations about different understandings and interpretations of human rights among people or countries!
“When I learn about things that I can utilize with my capacity, I try to pass it around. This was my mission. And I believe that I cannot realize this mission if I stayed in my ‘bubble’ without attending UWC.” —— Mohamed Youssef
